We are looking for a Health, Safety & Environmental (HS&E) Manager to champion our commitment to safety and sustainability. You will be responsible for the effective implementation of the Health, Safety & Environment Management System in accordance with the company’s strategic objectives.
Some of the main responsibilities of the role will include:
Defining & Implementing the HS&E policy & procedures to maintain ISO accreditation
Supporting relationships & programs with customers, partners & stakeholders in matters concerning HS&E
Lead accident / incident investigations and define appropriate performance metrics
Oversee and manage waste streams, emissions and energy use
Fostering a self-managing HS&E workplace culture with clear roles & responsibilities
For this role you will need:
NEBOSH General Certificate
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar position
Familiar with incident investigation process and root cause analysis
Working knowledge of UK H&S and environmental legislation
Clear communicator, confident delivering training
Proactive in identifying and solving safety issues
Can influence at all levels of the business
